Lets get this part out of the way right fast. Yes, we are alive and well. There was an EF3 tornado that missed us by about 5 miles. Unfortunately the town of Bakersfield, MO wasn’t as lucky. As of now, the official death count for Bakersfield is 3. Missouri has a death count of 12.
This is the vehicle of a professional Storm chaser. It’s never a good thing when these guys are in your town. Yes, there is a video of him intercepting the tornado in Bakersfield. No, I’m not going to post it.

Guess what time it is?
If you said “tax time” you’re right. Yay. The Wife and I get to see our accountant on Friday and pay our protection money to the mafia er…. I mean contribute to society. Or something. Since my true feelings on this particular topic are likely to get me onto another “watchlist”, I will let the following memes do my talking for me.
So we got that going for us…..which is nice. Who is John Galt?
So….. speaking of “watchlists” we did some shooting this past weekend.
The local State Park has two rifle ranges, and they are pretty damn nice. Free too. The Boy is getting much better with his rifle. I have been working on building a round for the bolt gun and I think I have it just about right. I just need to work on me.
Then we made Turkish Pizza on Sunday.
