Happy Thursday.

Lets get the “big deal” thing out of the way right quick. The election thingie happened yesterday. Some folks are happy, and others are not. Some folks are even having a bad day. Remember:

So… we took the kids mini golfing over the weekend. There were allegedly many pictures taken, but these are all the Ministry of Truth* has authorized for release.

No, it’s not a phallic thing, its a “Happy Gilmore” thing. Apparently the course has a rule that requires you to “ride the putter like a horse and yell “yee haw” if you get a hole in one”. Seriously. I would have gone with this kind of dance.

But yeah, I think three of us had to do the dance. Its the rules.

Anyway….

It rained a little bit the other day. NWS out of Springfield says we got 11.5” here at the “Rancho de Patos de Goma”. Just a lot. We ended up in the Fuhrerbunker Monday night.

Its never a good thing when Ryan Hall Y’all has you on his show. The tornado was about 10 miles north of us. Yay. The following day I went out on the ‘ol steed to check the damage and get a little mud on the tires. That’s a phallic thing. The mainline is open, but many local roads have been washed out and there is feet of water at many of the river crossings in the area.

No pictures, as I’m still working on my mobile photography / video (and my original helmet mount broke yesterday). I fixed it, and will hopefully begin to include “content” soon. I may charge the non circle of trust people for that. We’ll see. After all I am a cold hearted capitalistic influencer. Greed is good, or as the warrior poet “O.D.B.” from the Wu Tang Clan would say:

The orange thing isn’t an attempt at fashion, but an attempt at “hunter orange”. You see modern rifle season opened the other day and there are quite a few fools running around with guns shooting at noises. Some of them even have the “special edition hunter orange” Busch Light cans with them. Luckily most of them can’t shoot for shit. Sunday morning I was in the shop doing something or other and I heard like 9 shots from at least three different directions inside of 30 minutes. I think one guy was trying to laydown suppressive fire.
