Greetings all.

As I’m sure most of you know, Deathstorm 2025 ® Hit us a few days ago. The leadup to this thing was a bit excessive. Afterall this is the south, where they have like an entire isle at the Wal-Mart dedicated to sweet tea.

Luckily, the ice portion of this storm missed us by about 25 miles north and east. It just got cold here. Lows in the teens and highs in the 20s. With the wind chill its in the single digits outside at night. Maybe a bit colder. And, of course, it “snowed” like a 1/1024th of an inch outside so….no school on Monday. There’s a joke in there about Elizabeth Warren if you dig hard enough.

We are expecting almost three inches of snow on Thursday night, so we aren’t out of the clear yet.

Luckily we are prepared, and won’t have to resort to cannibalism yet*

Anyway….

Not a lot is going on outside as its cold this week. Luckily we have stuff to keep us busy here at El Rancho de Patitos de Goma.

The Wife put a floor in in the pantry area.

We are also doing our weekly nerdfest.

Yes, we are playing D&D. At least on Wednesday nights. Yeah, I used to play back in the day. So…I’m a nerd…..come at me bro. Think of it as “family game night”. It’s better than TV and makes people actually use their brains. Besides, it’s too cold outside to do stuff on Wednesday nights. Everyone seems to be having fun.
