Greetings all, and welcome to “This ‘ol Crackhouse”. As you can see from the clickbait, we have a pear this year*. Just one so far, but as Joey ‘the lips’ Fagan said “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. There are two other trees that might pop this season, but I’m not holding my breath.
That was an “in-joke’. Some of you got that, and some of you are furiously googling right now to become part of the in group. Some of you don’t give a damn. I get it, I mean I’m pretty solid Gen X….so….whatever.

As you can see the potatoes have popped and are doing…well….potato things. We will need to start adding material to the mound soon.
The tomatoes and the eggplant are growing. I have started fertilizing them and will be able to put them in the ground soon. I will have to start cucumbers this week.
I built a garden arbor this past weekend out of materials around the ‘Rancho. It has solar lights in it to brighten up the backyard in the evenings. I plan to grow the tomatoes up the arbor this year. If you are looking for an arm workout, I suggest pounding t stakes in the Ozarks. Holy shit.

The Wife made them for me out of recycled yarn. Its her first knitting project. She has been crocheting for ever, but decided to increase her skills.
The Wife seems to be getting along well at the Oktober Revolution Offroad Ranch #4. The Commissar is pleased with her dedication to the cause, and she may very well have her radish ration increased. Seriously though it seems to be going well, and she like the people there.
I am still being exploited by the Capitalists via my laptop. We will see how this goes, but at the moment I am happy with it. I’m still looking for more Imperialists to exploit me for money, as I am still a mercenary.
